Chief Medical Officer

As a leader in the occupational health services at Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), your role will be crucial in ensuring statutory compliance, promoting employee well-being, and managing medical emergencies and preventive health programs. You will oversee the factory's health services, conducting pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations while providing medical care and emergency treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses. Supervising and managing the Occupational Health Centre and its staff will also be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining full compliance with the Factories Act, 1948 and Tamil Nadu Factories Rules. Keeping accurate medical records, submitting required health reports, participating in health and safety committees and audits, and implementing health awareness and disease prevention programs will be essential tasks. Your role will also involve advising management on occupational health risks and mitigation strategies, as well as monitoring hygiene and sanitation standards across the factory. To qualify for this position, you should hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university along with an Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) certification. A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial/occupational health settings is required to excel in this role.
