1. Exhibit a mind-set of cost reduction & optimization. Participate and provide inputs in setting up robust solutions
2. Monitoring and updating cost estimates for projects to ensure that costs are within expected ranges.
3. Reviewing expense reports to ensure that expenses are reasonable and appropriate for the circumstances.
4. Coordinating with other departments such as human resources, payroll, accounting, and finance to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked.
5. Conducting cost analyses to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated altogether. Plan for automated solutions for the future cost control.
6. Monitoring budgets to ensure that spending does not exceed approved levels
7. Preparing reports to management regarding costs and expenses.
8. Managing supplier relationships to ensure that the company is receiving quality products at competitive prices.
9. Control and challenge procurement and/or sub-contractor costs and investigate variances between forecast and budgeted costs.
10. Work with the Project teams to ensure the understanding of the specifics of the project plans and contract.
11. Communicate with the Project teams, ensuring all reports are accurately reflecting the operational and financial status of the projects.
12. ERP experience is mandatory.
