We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide information systems and infrastructure. As a CIO, driving IT excellence is your primary objective, and you will establish robust technology foundations, develop comprehensive IT strategies, and expand our technological capabilities through innovative solutions and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the organisation s IT strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability while maintaining optimal system performance.
- Ensure the security and integrity of data, networks, and systems through robust information security measures and compliance protocols.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to meet organisational objectives, including budgeting, resource allocation, and project delivery timelines.
- Identify and assess new technologies, providing strategic recommendations that support innovation and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to assess technology needs and ensure effective implementation and user adoption across departments.
- Manage vendor relationships and lead procurement activities for IT infrastructure, services, and technology solutions.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams while promoting continuous improvement and professional skill development.
- Ensure robust data privacy governance, including compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, and other relevant privacy legislation.
- Own and manage risks related to data security, system uptime, and IT service continuity across the enterprise.
- Implement and manage comprehensive security frameworks, including ISMS 27001, ISO 27701, and industry-standard compliance protocols.
- 18+ Years of progressive experience in IT management, including infrastructure, networking, security, and team leadership.
- Extensive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure management, cloud technologies, and information security protocols.
- Well-established expertise in strategic IT planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, B.Tech, or equivalent; Management degree or diploma preferred.
- Mandatory Certifications: Advanced Security, Cloud Technologies, IT Standards Compliance, CCNA, Hardware Networking.
- Additional professional certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in system administration, network design, software license management, and vendor relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with decision-making ability under pressure.
