Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and resources of the firm, acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and corporate operations. Daily tasks include strategic planning, business planning, managing finance and operations, and driving sales. The CEO will also ensure directives are met and work towards the overall growth and profitability of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Define and execute the vision and growth strategy for the new India entity; lead the restructuring and transition process.

Operational Excellence:

Oversee all India operations including legal delivery, HR, finance, compliance, and technology. Build efficient processes and governance systems.

Business Growth:

Expand client base, open new markets, and develop service offerings in legal, immigration, and advisory domains.

People & Culture:

Lead and mentor a 250+ member team, develop leadership capabilities, and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner closely with global leadership, act as the right hand to the Global Director, and represent the firm externally.

Financial Management:

Own the India P&L, ensure profitability, and maintain full compliance with Indian legal and regulatory standards.

Educational background

Experience

• 1520+ years total experience in Indian legal / professional services
• At least

  5+ years in a senior leadership / CEO / Managing Partner / Country Head / COO role

  in a top-tier Indian law / legal service / consulting firm.
• Proven track record of scaling teams (200+ employees), building processes, restructuring, launching new verticals.
