Job Description

Summary Section

As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front-end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving, the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.

Responsibilities:

Shall have good understanding of local /international codes and standards relevant to electrical design
Shall be able to develop electrical layouts independently, coordinating with other disciplines
Shall have expertise in 2D/3D tools
Shall be able to prepare design/construction standards
Shall be able to perform cable tray sizing and lighting calculations using AGI32 / Dialux
Shall be able to manage large team of designers (more than 10), planning and delivering scheduled tasks in addition to performing assigned tasks
Shall be able to prepare and deliver presentations
Understand and implement quality system requirements
Shall be able to prepare material quantities for electrical bulks independently
Shall be able to understand and implement inter discipline interfaces
Shall have good written and oral communication skills
Shall be able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
Shall be able to mentor and guide other Design Leads

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, Skills:

Shall have a Diploma (Full Time) /Degree (Part Time) in Electrical Engineering
25+ years of experience, with at least half the experience in Oil Gas industry
