Chief Architect Cloud Strategy and Projects

Purpose of the Position:

This position is responsible for managing, maintaining and implementation of Cloud infrastructure for SAVWIPL and Region APAC Group companies. Main KPI would be,

• Build, Test & Migrate cloud environments.

• Integration with on-premises & cloud applications.

• Monitor & maintain multiple cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with other IT & Business teams and maintain positive relationship.

• Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.

• Employ a cloud cost management strategy to keep cost optimisation

• Deal with Group IT Cloud committee members

Authority:

Functioning of Cloud Infra & Data Center as per SLAs and OLAs agreed.

• Accept/Reject System changes

• Business Applications Reviews/Audits (Cloud applicability, as-a-Service optimisation)

• Strategy review of cloud & on-premises projects

• Cloud to Cloud, Cloud to OnPrem architecture, HLD and LLD reviews

• Governance of Service and Cloud approaches aligned to Business Objectives

• Architecture of Multi-Cloud solutions including GCP, AWS and Azure

Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

Technical ( Core IT operational Tasks)

• Responsible for cloud setup performance, utilization, uptime (99.99%)

• Responsible for management of multiple Cloud accounts & subscription for SAVW & region APAC companies

• Vendor Technical KPI Evaluation & monitoring

• Technical Evaluation of various new technologies and implementation

• Technical and commercial evaluation of cloud technologies

• Implementation of Azure/AWS cloud Infrastructure

• Decide/ Advise shift platform and Cloud Partner by performing in depth analysis

IT/ Business projects

• Implementation of Projects following various standard procedures & protocols set by SAVW & Head Quarter (HQ) policies & procedures

• Ensure all operational KPIs and Metrics are being measured and met for cloud infrastructures

• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for delivering organizational results

• Prepare Technical RFPs related to Projects, Vendor evaluation and technical selection

Business Process Management

• Projects Planning and Execution following various HQ Group standards & Process Optimization

• Analyse and check IT infrastructure requirements including details for budgeting

• Document preparation & Update including problem sheets in case of downtime

• ITIL/ITSM

Compliance

• Ensure compliance to Business Continuity Management Standards ISO 22301 - Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

• Audit preparation ISMS related to Cloud Infrastructure and Platforms

• Ensure adherence to Group wide IT Security/Quality initiatives as per relevance

• License Management and Reporting

Group / Region APAC delivery

• Deliver cloud expertise as per requirements within APAC region

• Prepare migration approach and drive end to end project

• Share expertise within APAC for new solution developments

Governance and Steering

• KPI (Key Performance Indicators), SLA (Service Level Agreement) & OLA (Operational Level Agreement) Monitoring and optimization

• Prepare Business case/ROI for Cloud Migration

• Prepare Technical Documents like SOPs, Run Books, Knowledge Database

• Collaborate and engage with HQ, Cloud community to constantly strive for improvement of SAVW technology Landscape

• Participate in Industry Forums to Gain knowledge, Best Practices

• Prepare use case/ Technical scoping, learning from each Pilot/Project

• Perform Pilots/ Proofs of concept for Identified Projects
