Chemist

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and mix chemical formulations according to established production procedures and batch records. • Monitor and operate equipment used in chemical manufacturing, such as reactors, mixers, dryers, and filtration systems. • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications by performing in-process checks and coordinating with the Quality Control team. • Maintain accurate and detailed production records, including batch documentation, process parameters, and deviations. • Assist in scaling up production from lab-scale batches to full-scale manufacturing. • Troubleshoot chemical processes and equipment problems to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and environmental policies. • Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production processes. • Participate in investigations of non-conformances and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of production areas and equipment. ______________ Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. • Advanced degree preferred for certain specialized industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals). Experience: • 2–5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or pharmaceutical production environment. • Experience with GMP and regulatory compliance is a strong asset.
