Job Description

The Chief Process Advisor will advise with regards to the detailed checkout, precommissioning activities, heater and reactor circuit dryout, catalyst and/or adsorbent loading, startup, initial operation and testing of the unit, as well as providing instruction and direction to the operating staff. The UOP Chief Advisor will have the overall on site responsibility for ensuring that UOP's commissioning, startup, and initial operations services are fully executed. Before the completion of construction, the Chief Process Advisor will compare and evaluate the specifications of the supplied equipment with those specified in the UOP Schedule A Package, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, and various UOP Standard Specifications and Drawings. This detailed examination procedure will enable the Chief Process Advisor to identify, evaluate and provide advice to avoid problems that could interfere with a smooth startup and successful performance of the Process Unit.As a Chemical Engr II here at Honeywell, you will assist in designing, developing, and implementing chemical processes.
