Position Overview: Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Research Engineer to develop and scale eco-friendly chemical propellants and optimize catalytic formulations.

• Design, synthesize and test catalysts; perform thermal and materials characterization.

• Run compatibility, aging and bench performance tests; analyze decomposition kinetics and gas outputs.

• Perform basic chemical-engineering tasks (mass/energy balances, reactor/mixing considerations) and support scale-up.

• Document results, maintain lab safety and records, and analyze/plot data using Origin. 

Required Qualifications

Completed a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Knowledge about catalyst engineering.

📍 Work Location: DreamAerospace Test Facility, IIT Kanpur Campus, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Compensation: Based on experience and skill level.
