Chef De Partie

Department: Kitchen Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef De Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of kitchen operations, excellent cooking skills, and the ability to manage a specific section independently while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section (hot, cold, tandoor, Indian, continental, etc.). Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards. Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared efficiently before service. Monitor portion control, waste management, and consistency in food quality. Maintain high levels of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety within the kitchen. Coordinate with Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen staff for smooth operations. Train and guide Commis chefs in their daily tasks. Ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in menu development and new recipe execution when required. Follow all food safety regulations and kitchen SOPs. Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a CDP or Demi Chef in a professional kitchen. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and section-specific expertise. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and team-management skills. Understanding of HACCP and food safety protocols. Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred. Personal Attributes:Passionate about food and quality. Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
