Job Title: Fusion Food Chef – Aakarmil Café Location: Vile Parle (E) Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time About Cafe: Aakarmil Cafe is a creative food and coffee space built on the idea of comfort, culture, and connection. Now, we’re looking for a talented Chef, who can blend tradition with innovation to craft dishes that surprise and delight. Job Responsibilities: Develop and execute a fusion-style menu that combines Indian flavors with global influences. Experiment with new ingredients, plating, and presentation styles that reflect Aakarmil’s creative spirit. Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and portion control for all dishes. Collaborate with the management team to design seasonal or themed menus. Ensure all kitchen operations comply with hygiene and safety standards. Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation. Monitor food inventory, manage stock, and minimize waste. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a chef (preferably in a fusion or contemporary café/restaurant). Strong knowledge of Indian and Continental cuisines. Creativity and passion for experimenting with flavors and presentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality. Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
