Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end cheese production process (from R&D in lab to final product in plant)
Develop and optimize recipes for various cheese types (Mozzarella, Cheddar, Processed, Taleggio, Gouda, Chvre etc.)
Monitor and control parameters like pH, temperature, culture activity, and moisture content.
Troubleshoot processing issues and optimize yields and textures.
Work closely with R&D for product innovations and process improvements.
Maintain detailed production reports and regulatory documentation, customer responses.
Conduct product trials and improve texture, taste, shelf-life, and packaging.
Innovate with cheese ingredients, techniques, and processes to meet market trends and customer demands.

Preferred candidate profile

B.Tech/M.Tech in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, or related field
5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in cheese production, including R&D and product development
Prior exposure to selling or promoting food products (preferably dairy)
Strong knowledge of cheese chemistry, cultures, equipment, and hygiene protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
