Chartered Accountant

We’re hiring a Chartered Accountant (CA) to join us as a founding team member.

We’re building automation-first workflows for Indian compliance—starting from the ground truth of how work is actually done in CA firms and finance teams. Your role will be to deeply research statutory/compliance processes, speak to multiple CAs to validate edge cases, and translate complex requirements into clean step-by-step flows we can productize.

If you enjoy understanding how systems work, documenting them clearly, and designing repeatable processes (not just executing filings), you’ll love this role.

• Talk to practicing CAs and finance teams to understand real workflows, variations, and exceptions across industries.
• Break down compliance activities into precise steps (inputs → validations → decisions → outputs).
• Create “automation-ready” documentation: process maps, checklists, decision trees, templates, and SOPs.
• Identify missing data points, dependencies, and risk areas (what can go wrong, and how to prevent it).
• Collaborate with product/engineering to convert workflows into product flows (including validation rules and edge cases).
• Continuously update workflows as rules, interpretations, or practical best practices evolve.

• Qualified CA with strong interest in systems, process design, and product thinking.
• Solid working knowledge across common Indian compliances (you don’t need all of them, but you should be excited to learn fast): GST, TDS/TCS, ROC/MCA, PF/ESI, income tax, invoicing/accounting workflows, etc.
• Ability to communicate clearly with other CAs and extract reliable information (including differences in interpretation).
• Strong writing/documentation skills (you can turn messy conversations into crisp artifacts).
• High ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and excitement for early-stage startup pace.

• Experience in a CA firm where you handled multiple clients/processes.
• Exposure to compliance tooling, ERP/accounting systems, or process improvement projects.
• Interest in automation, no-code tools, product ops, or building playbooks.
