Managing financial health through accounting, budgeting, auditing, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key duties include preparing financial statements, overseeing billing, and accounts receivable/ payable, conducting internal audits, and ensuring adherence to tax laws, and healthcare-specific regulations.
Role also requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial software to provide guidance to hospital management.
Prepare and examine financial statements, cost reports, and management information in accordance wit healthcare standards.
Develop, manage, and monitor departmental and hospital-wide budgets, and cash flows.
Manage the patient billing process and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timely payments.
Conduct internal audits to ensure financial integrity and ensure compliance with state, federal, and tax laws, including GST and TDS submissions.
Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to improve financial operations and provide financial advice.
Proven experience working in a healthcare setting or hospital.
Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and tax laws.
