Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai as a Chartered Accountant - GST Litigation Specialist. The responsibilities include managing GST litigation cases, preparing and filing GST returns, representing clients in tax hearings, and providing advisory support on indirect tax matters. The role also involves conducting thorough legal research and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, drafting replies to notices, and staying abreast of industry changes.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in GST litigation, indirect tax laws, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in preparing and filing GST returns, TDS compliance, and drafting documentation for tax-related matters
• Experience in legal research, analyzing tax laws, and handling audits or inquiries from regulatory authorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for correspondence, reporting, and client interactions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• CA certification with a strong background in GST laws and practice
• Prior experience in financial institutions, taxation consultancy, or working with government bodies is a plus
