The Opportunity: Transaction Advisory – Finance & Tax

We’re seeking motivated, detail-oriented professionals with 2–5 years of experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance, and tax structuring. The role demands a sharp analytical mindset, strong execution skills, and the confidence to advise both founders and investors.

Key Responsibilities

a. Financial Retainerships

Act as a finance partner for start-ups—manage budgets, cash flows, MIS reporting, and investor communication.

b. Valuations

Support valuation mandates for fundraises, secondary sales, and M&A, in compliance with the Income Tax Act, FEMA, and Companies Act.

c. Due Diligence

Lead and execute financial and tax due diligence (buy-side/sell-side), covering revenue/margin analysis, working capital, and risk assessments.

d. Tax Advisory

Advise on domestic and cross-border structuring, ESOPs, holding company setups, and exits.

e. Client Engagement & Team Leadership

Independently manage multiple clients with a focus on responsiveness, relationship-building, and quality execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2–5 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory, corporate finance, or with a Big 4/Boutique firm.
• Strong technical foundation in accounting, taxation, financial modelling, and valuations.
• A clear, confident communicator who can simplify complex ideas for diverse stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with start-ups or early-stage businesses is a strong plus.
