Chartered Accountant (CA)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial reporting and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. The person will be required to work in Australian time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, Ind AS, US GAAP).

Develop, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate, VAT, GST, etc.), maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Analyze financial data, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends, irregularities, and areas for improvement.

Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in financial reporting standards (IFRS, Ind AS, US GAAP).

Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA Qualified
• Self-motivated, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Chartered Accountancy designation from a recognized accounting body (e.g., ICAI).
