Job Description

Position Summary

The Channel Lead will drive the expansion and performance of the companys channel partner network to boost residential and small C&I solar sales across India. This role includes partner acquisition, performance management, training, and ensuring seamless customer experiences while aligning with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Strategy:

    Develop and execute strategies to grow channel presence in target markets.
  • Partner Onboarding:

    Identify, recruit, and onboard new dealers, EPCs, and installers.
  • Sales Enablement:

    Set sales targets, monitor performance, and support partners to meet goals.
  • Training & Support:

    Deliver training on products, sales, installation, and service.
  • Relationship Management:

    Maintain strong partner relationships and ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Market Insights:

    Track market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies.
  • Marketing Support:

    Work with marketing to provide branding and lead-gen tools.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure partners meet quality, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Reporting:

    Analyze channel data and report KPIs to leadership.
  • Customer Experience:

    Ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction through partner engagement.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in channel sales or partner management, ideally in solar/renewables
  • Proven success managing dealer networks, especially in residential/small C&I sectors
  • Engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical) preferred; MBA is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Market analysis and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of solar systems and Indian regulatory landscape is an advantage
  • Fluent in English & Hindi; regional languages preferred
  • Willingness to travel extensively
