Role: CFD Intern (Training + Internship)

Responsibilities:

• Learn the fundamentals of

  Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

  and its applications in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering.
• Work on

  real-world simulation projects

  involving fluid flow, aerodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Perform

  mesh generation, boundary condition setup, and solver execution

  using CFD software/tools.
• Analyze and validate simulation results, preparing technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with mentors and peers in a

  project-based learning environment

  .
• Participate in review sessions, discussions, and technical webinars organized by MARS Exploration.

What You Will Learn (Training Modules):

• Introduction to CFD & Governing Equations (Navier-Stokes, Continuity, Momentum, Energy)
• Basics of Fluid Mechanics and Aerodynamics
• CFD Workflow: Pre-processing, Solving & Post-processing
• Meshing Techniques and Grid Independence Study
• Turbulence Models and Boundary Conditions
• CFD Software Hands-On (ANSYS Fluent / OpenFOAM / SimScale / Star CCM+ basics)
• Case Studies in

  Aerospace Vehicle Design, Propulsion Systems, and Heat Transfer

• Final Project: Simulation & Report Submission

Eligibility Criteria:

• Engineering students (UG/PG) in

  Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or related branches

  .
• Basic understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or C++ (preferred but not mandatory).
• Eagerness to learn simulation techniques and a research-oriented mindset.
