Job Title: Centre Manager cum Counsellor

Location: Lakmé Academy – Barasat
Type: Full-Time | On-site

About the Role

Lakmé Academy Barasat is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Centre Manager cum Counsellor to oversee daily operations, drive admissions, and ensure the smooth functioning of the academy.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the center — including admissions, counselling, faculty coordination, student satisfaction, and revenue achievement — while upholding the Lakmé brand’s excellence in beauty education.

Key Responsibilities

1. Counselling & Admissions

  • Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Counsel prospective students and parents about Lakmé Academy’s courses, career opportunities, and placements.
  • Convert enquiries into admissions by explaining program details, benefits, and growth prospects.
  • Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate lead follow-up and conversion reports in CRM systems.

2. Centre Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the academy and ensure all departments function efficiently.
  • Monitor student attendance, class schedules, and academic progress.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to maintain training quality and timely syllabus completion.
  • Handle escalations, feedback, and grievances from students and parents.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, visual presentation, and grooming guidelines across the center.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and motivate the front office, telecounselling, and marketing teams.
  • Conduct weekly review meetings to track lead flow, admissions, and targets.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for on-ground and digital promotional activities.
  • Liaise with the head office for academic, marketing, and operational support.

4. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage fee collections, daily cash reconciliation, and expense tracking.
  • Maintain admission records, student databases, and MIS reports.
  • Support the management in business development and local outreach strategies.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Graduate or Post-Graduate (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Education).
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years in counselling, centre management, or education sales (experience in the beauty / vocational training sector preferred).

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi, Bengali).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and manage teams.
  • Good computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM tools).
  • Well-groomed and confident personality reflecting the Lakmé brand ethos.
