CCTV & networking technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV & Networking Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining CCTV systems, WiFi access points, routers, switches, and complete network infrastructure at residential, commercial, and enterprise sites. The technician must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of independent site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras (IP & Analog), DVR/NVR systems, and storage solutions.
• Perform network setup, including routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi access points, and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys, plan layouts, and provide accurate material estimations.
• Troubleshoot CCTV, network, and connectivity issues on-site and remotely.
• Test, commission, and document all systems after installation.
• Ensure neat and professional cable management using conduits, rack systems, and proper labeling.
• Provide client training and support post-installation.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members for timely project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CCTV technician, Network technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, LAN/WAN, DHCP, static IP configuration, and port forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with PoE switches, WiFi APs, routers, NVR/DVR setup, and cable termination.
• Ability to work with CAT6 cabling, crimping, punching, and rack setup.
• Familiarity with brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Prama, Grandstream, Tp Link etc. (preferred).
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and layout plans.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and performing physical tasks.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
