Role Description

• Implements and maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives,quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional procedures.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including cardiac and neurologicalevaluations.
• Administer medications, including sedatives and pain management agents, as perprotocol.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment during procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for procedures.
• Assist cardiologists and other team members during diagnostic and interventionalprocedures, including setting up sterile fields, handling instruments, and operatingspecialized equipment.
• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of all necessary equipment and supplies.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
• Prepare and manage medications used during procedures.
• Assess patient’s vital signs and lab data to determine emergency intervention needs.
• Collaborate with other health care professional to develop and revise treatment plan based on identified needs and assessment data.
• Document patient’s medical history and assessment findings, treatment plans, intervention, outcome/plan revision
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, the management of central venous catheter, venepuncture.

Qualifications

Minimum1 years of experience as Cath Lab Nurse from any reputed accredited hospital
