Coordinate patient investigations and referrals to other specialties when required. Emergency Medicine Duties Evaluate and stabilize critically ill patients in the Emergency Department. Make timely decisions in high-pressure emergencies. Collaborate with trauma, surgical, and other specialty teams for multidisciplinary care. Team Leadership Guide and supervise junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff. Participate in training programs and clinical case discussions. Patient & Family Communication Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses to patients and their families. Counsel families regarding lifestyle modification, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
