Job Title:

Job Summary:

The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospitals outpatient clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient service delivery, and effective team management. This role involves coordinating administrative processes, managing clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing patient flow and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic(s), including appointment scheduling, patient registration, billing, and medical records management.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments (pharmacy, radiology, lab, etc.) for smooth patient care flow.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Foster a positive work environment and address any staff issues or conflicts.

Patient Care & Experience:

  • Ensure that patients receive timely, respectful, and efficient care.
  • Resolve patient complaints or concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Monitor patient feedback and implement service improvement plans.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, hospital policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports for audits and inspections.
  • Oversee infection control and patient safety protocols.

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor clinic budgets, expenses, and revenues.
  • Collaborate with the finance team on billing, coding, and insurance claims.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising patient care.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:

  • Participate in strategic planning and execution for outpatient services.
  • Generate regular reports on clinic performance, staff productivity, and patient outcomes.
  • Work with hospital leadership on new initiatives, programs, or services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical or hospital administration.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in hospital information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
