Role Overview: You will be responsible for procuring all types of IT hardware, software, and related services with an annual spend size exceeding Rs. 100 crores. Additionally, you will handle the procurement of administrative materials and services, including Steel and Cement for new projects or expansions. Your duties will involve negotiations, contracting, ordering, delivery, and settlement. It will be crucial for you to actively participate in annual budgets, track due dates and renewals, and prepare in advance for negotiations and closures. You will need to mitigate risks, develop alternatives, and optimize the spend to achieve speed and cost excellence. Taking ownership of the spend category, you should consistently manage delivery, availability, cost savings, risk mitigation, and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Procure all types of IT hardware, software, and related services with an annual spend size exceeding Rs. 100 crores - Handle procurement of administrative materials and services, including Steel and Cement for new projects or expansions - Conduct negotiations, contracting, ordering, delivery, and settlement - Actively participate in annual budgets, track due dates and renewals, and prepare in advance for negotiations and closures - Mitigate risks, develop alternatives, and optimize the spend for speed and cost excellence - Take ownership of the spend category and manage it consistently in terms of delivery, availability, cost savings, risk mitigation, and continuous improvements Qualifications Required: - Graduate in engineering (Computer Engineering / IT / Electronics) with PGDMM / MBA in IT Systems preferred Experience Required: - Minimum 6 to 10 years in a similar role within a large-sized complex organization Soft Skills Needed: - Creative mindset with team spirit and ability to navigate different situations - Good communication skills, both oral and written - Collaborative approach with a problem-solving attitude - Process orientation and strong ethics - IT / Computer savvy with proficiency in Excel and MS Office skills Please note: You will report to the Head of Procurement and will have 1 reportee under your supervision.
