Level: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Reporting To: Associate Director Category Management Location: Gurgaon About The Function The Corporate business at MakeMyTrip powers MyBiz, a SaaS-based corporate travel management solution that helps small and medium businesses (SMBs) streamline bookings, control travel spend, and deliver a seamless employee experience As the B2B arm of Indias leading travel platform, MyBiz combines technology, travel, and enterprise efficiency ? serving 50,000+ corporates and earning a reputation as one of the most trusted platforms in the space Within the Corporate business, the Category function drives growth by leveraging data to analyze trends, pricing, and customer behavior, and translating insights into strategy, pricing actions, and supply initiatives The team focuses on expanding supply, improving visibility and conversion, and enhancing customer experience through close collaboration with supply, product, marketing, finance, and customer success teams About The Role The Category Manager leads and grows the Accommodation vertical for MyBiz ? MakeMyTrips SaaS-based corporate travel management product The role focuses on using data-led insights, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring execution excellence to drive growth, improve conversion, and enhance customer experience By delivering strategic initiatives and operational improvements, this role directly contributes to strengthening MyBizs position as the preferred corporate travel solution for small and medium businesses What Will You Be Doing Data-Driven Strategy & Insights: Analyze accommodation trends, pricing, performance metrics, and customer behavior Derive actionable insights to shape strategy, pricing, and supply initiatives; build structured dashboards, reports, and business reviews Category Growth Define and execute plans to expand supply, improve competitiveness, and enhance customer experience Work closely with demand and marketing teams to optimize visibility and conversion Work closely with demand and marketing teams to optimize visibility and conversion Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with supply, technology, product, marketing, finance, and customer success teams Lead alignment discussions, influence without authority, and drive shared goals across functions Project Leadership Lead high-impact initiatives such as new accommodation launches, rate parity optimization, and strategic partnerships Break down complex goals into structured workstreams with measurable milestones Qualification & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree from a reputed institute with 35 years of experience in category management, consulting, e-commerce, or business strategy roles Strong analytical mindset with expertise in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc,) Experience in travel, hospitality, or related sectors is a plus Key Success Factors for the Role Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and align multiple teams to a shared vision Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and a bias for action
