Location: HosurExperience: 10-15 yearsIndustry: Automotive / ManufacturingEmployment Type: Full TimeJob DescriptionWe are hiring a Category Manager to lead sourcing and supplier development for key commodities:- Forgings- Extrusions- Geared Parts- Ring Gears- ElectromechanicsThis role will align local sourcing strategies with global objectives, drive cost optimization, and ensure supplier performance across Indian plants.Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute commodity strategies
Lead supplier negotiations and onboarding
Drive cost reduction and dual sourcing initiatives
Collaborate with global and regional teams
Ensure timely development and capacity planning
Maintain supplier KPIs and documentation

Candidate Profile

Graduate in Engineering with 10 -15 years of purchasing experience
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, forging, etc.)
Experience in automotive industry preferred
Familiar with SAP, MS Office, and QMS
Excellent communication, analytical, and self-organizing skills
Fluent in English, Hindi, or Marathi
