Category Analyst

Develop a good knowledge of magazine sales, marketing and circulation management techniques, appreciation of the magazine industry and Marketforce systems and procedures   Proactively develop and engage in long term strategic projects to achieve customer and/Hersheys financial objectives   Act as the indispensable consultative partner to the customer and the CSE   Product Assortment - 25%   Identifies key metrics and methodology to conduct assortment analysis by category and brand   Targets items for deletion, addition, and retention based upon duplication/variety criteria   Develops the most effective product assortment based on agreed upon parameters   Confirms that assortment fits in planogram   Main point of contact for all retail customer orders   With Category Manager support, conduct line reviews for assigned account(s) including assortment recommendations, segment trend performance and providing strategies and tactics to drive sales
