Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments accurately.
Generate invoices/bills using POS (Point of Sale) software.
Verify pricing and product codes with sales staff before billing.
Maintain cash register and ensure balance at the beginning and end of the shift.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as required.
Count cash in the register at the start and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
Ensure proper documentation of all transactions and maintain daily reports.
Coordinate with the sales team for order processing, discounts, and offers.
Handle customer queries related to payments or billing efficiently.
Follow store policies and procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Ensure the cash counter area is clean, organized, and secure.
Support inventory and stock reconciliation when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in commerce or finance is a plus.
Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in retail or jewellery.
Knowledge of basic accounting, and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Trustworthy and dependable.
Ability to handle high-value transactions discreetly and securely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
