Cashier

Handling Cash and Other Payment Modes:

• Assist with additional counters or temporary setups during festive seasons, exhibitions, or promotional events.
• Ensure fast and efficient checkout during peak hours.
• Receive payments from customers in the form of cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, cheques, or gift vouchers.
• Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Billing Support:

• Work closely with the billing team to verify and finalize invoices before accepting payments.
• Cross-check item details, taxes, discounts, and total bill amount before collection.Cash Management and Reconciliation:
• Maintain a balanced cash register throughout the day.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies immediately.

Receipt and Voucher Issuance:

• Issue printed or digital receipts to customers upon successful transaction.
• Maintain proper records of advance payments, partial payments, and refund vouchers.

Maintaining Transaction Records:

• Record all cash and non-cash transactions accurately in the showroom’s system.
• Submit daily reports to the accounts or finance team as required.

Customer Interaction:

• Handle customer queries related to payments, refunds, and receipts professionally and courteously.
• Ensure a pleasant checkout experience for every customer.

Safety and Security Compliance:

• Follow strict protocols for cash safety, drawer management, and counter surveillance.
• Immediately report any suspicious activities or counterfeit currency.

Coordination with Accounts & Audit Teams:

• Assist in internal audits and cooperate with finance staff during periodic cash tallies.
• Ensure documentation for each transaction is clear and complete.

Handling Refunds and Exchanges:

• Process refunds and exchanges as per showroom policy after verifying supporting documents and approvals.
• Maintain refund records with proper documentation.

Support During Showroom Events:

• Assist with additional counters or temporary setups during festive seasons, exhibitions, or promotional events.
• Ensure fast and efficient checkout during peak hours.
