Cashier

Key ResponsibilitiesCash Handling & Transactions

• Collect fees, payments, and charges from students, parents, or customers.
• Issue receipts for all transactions.
• Maintain daily cash records and ensure accuracy.
• Handle cash, cheques, UPI, cards, and online payments securely.
• Verify and count cash at the beginning and end of each day.

Record Keeping

• Maintain fee registers, payment reports, and transaction logs.
• Update software or Excel sheets with daily payment entries.
• Ensure proper filing of receipts, invoices, and vouchers.
• Reconcile daily collections with accounts department.

Customer/Parent Interaction

• Provide clear information about fee structure, due dates, and payments.
• Assist parents/customers with queries regarding fees or billing.
• Maintain a polite and professional behavior.

Administration Support

• Coordinate with the accounts department for depositing cash in bank.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly collection reports.
• Support office staff in basic administrative tasks when needed.

Accuracy & Compliance

• Ensure all transactions are error-free and documented.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records.
• Follow school/office financial policies and audit procedures.

Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate
• Preferably with basic accounting knowledge.

Skills

• Good numerical and calculation skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, billing software).
• Good communication and polite behavior.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure and long queues during fee collection days.

Preferred Qualities

• Trustworthy and responsible.
• Good time management.
• Professional and organized.
• Experience in cash handling or accounts (preferred but not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
