Job Purpose
Identify, develop, and manage strategic pharmaceutical logistics accounts with growth potential. Build and maintain strong partnerships across key stakeholders to enhance cargo performance, optimize revenue, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, pricing, operations, and service delivery to ensure end-to-end support for pharmaceutical shipments.
Job Outline
- Drive growth in market share and revenue from pharmaceutical shipments by developing and executing strategic account plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Explore and pursue new and existing business opportunities across direct shippers, freight forwarders, and global partners to expand the pharma logistics footprint.
- Conduct regular performance reviews (tonnage, revenue, yield) and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address underperformance and enhance results.
- Support regional sales in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Lead or contribute to commercial tender processes, including pricing strategy and risk assessment.
- Ensure high service standards by coordinating with operations, ground handling, and service teams throughout the logistics chain for seamless pharma delivery.
- Liaise with pricing and capacity teams to optimize service commitments and rate structures for key pharma clients. Provide feedback to solutions teams to support innovation in pharma logistics offerings.
- Strengthen coordination between origin and destination stations to boost bi-directional sales and staff training. Maintain accurate account records and reporting for strategic alignment.

Experience
Min 5 years of Experience in air cargo, freight forwarding, or pharmaceutical logistics.Qualification
Knowledge/skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing key accounts and delivering results
- In-depth knowledge of air cargo operations, pharma handling standards (e.g., GDP, CEIV), and supply chain processes
- Familiarity with global pricing, capacity planning, and contract negotiation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at senior levels
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple stakeholders, and travel as required
