Role: Career Specialist

Job Overview

The Career Specialist plays a key role in guiding prospective students toward the right educational and career paths. This role involves engaging with leads through calls, counseling sessions, and walk-ins, helping them make informed decisions about their future. The Career Specialist manages the student journey from initial inquiry to admission, while ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, target-driven mindset, and the ability to convert leads into enrollments. Additionally, the role involves maintaining compliance, managing fee structures, and supporting internal admission processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students and their families to recommend suitable educational programs and career pathways.
• Provide personalized counseling to help students make informed academic and career decisions.
• Manage the entire student lifecycle — from inquiry and counseling to admission, enrollment, and onboarding.
• Convert leads into successful admissions, consistently achieving weekly and monthly enrollment targets.
• Conduct timely follow-ups via calls, emails, and messages to maintain engagement with potential students.
• Handle walk-in inquiries, inbound/outbound calls, and ensure a high conversion rate through effective communication.
• Monitor and manage fee structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional policies and internal systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Empathetic, patient, and capable of connecting with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in counseling, advisory, or student support roles is an added advantage.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and office productivity tools.
• Confident, self-driven, and highly energetic.
• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
