About The Opportunity
Join a growing hospital network delivering comprehensive cardiac services to a mixed urban–rural population in Northern India. We are expanding cardiology capabilities including non-invasive imaging, invasive diagnostics and interventional services at our Kashipur facility. This role is ideal for a clinically excellent, patient-focused cardiologist with strong procedural skills and leadership in a hospital setting.Role & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient cardiology consultations, diagnosis, and management for a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions.
- Lead and perform invasive procedures including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, and diagnostic cardiac catheterization with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform and interpret advanced cardiac imaging (TTE/TEE) and collaborate with imaging teams to guide clinical decisions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care with cardiac surgery, ICU, emergency, and allied specialties to optimise patient outcomes and streamline clinical pathways.
- Develop and maintain clinical protocols, participate in morbidity & mortality reviews, and ensure compliance with infection control and cath-lab standards.
- Mentor junior doctors and nursing staff, contribute to training programs and support quality-improvement initiatives in cardiology services.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- DM / DNB in Cardiology
- Valid medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council
- Proven clinical and procedural competency in coronary angiography, PCI, and cardiac catheterization
- Hands-on experience in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography interpretation
- Proficiency in acute cardiac care and resuscitation protocols
- Strong ability to work in a multidisciplinary hospital environment and manage emergency cardiac cases
Preferred
- Fellowship or advanced training in interventional cardiology
- Accreditation or certification in advanced cardiac imaging or echocardiography
- Prior experience establishing or managing cath-lab services in a tertiary or secondary care hospital
