Capability Manager

Role Overview: As a Capability Manager at HCL Technologies in Bangalore, you will be responsible for engaging with your team members to focus on their career development and competency growth. Your role will involve promoting a positive work culture that includes rewards and recognitions to enhance employee retention. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in supporting business growth by managing headcount increase, demand fulfillment, and fulfillment through demand management and fulfillment. Key Responsibilities: - Interface with internal and external customers regarding mechanical issues for specific projects. - Establish standards across all operational processes. - Conduct appraisal reviews and periodic performance reviews of reports. - Set, monitor, and review CDP for reports. - Build capability and capacity to meet present and future demand. - Act as the primary touchpoint to enhance employee experience. - Monitor and control business parameters under your purview. - Manage demand fulfillment and supply management both internally and externally. - Support solution-led business growth and provide POC or value creation support. - Participate in organizational initiatives, recruitment, and NV plans. - Engage with industry and institution stakeholders. - Represent HCL in events and conferences. - Contribute to standards bodies and open-source projects. Qualification Required: - BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical Engg/Equivalent.) / ME / M.Tech with any Mechanical Engg related specialization. - 12 to 18 years of experience in Product Design & Development, preferably within Semiconductor, Medical, and Aerospace domains. Additional Details: The Capability Manager should possess knowledge of designs of mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging, preferably in vacuum and gas flow systems. You will also need to demonstrate expanded conceptual knowledge in your discipline, understand key business drivers, and have strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication, and project management. Additionally, proficiency in CAD tools like UG/NX & Creo, as well as domain experience in the SEMI/SPM Industry, will be beneficial for this role.,
