Canteen Supervisor

The college canteen is an essential part of campus life - a place where students and staff rely on safe, hygienic, and timely meals every day. We are seeking a Canteen Supervisor who can ensure smooth operations, maintain quality standards, and lead the canteen team with responsibility, discipline, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the college canteen, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Supervise cooks, helpers, and support staff, ensuring discipline and proper duty allocation.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and availability of menu items.
• Maintain records related to attendance, stock, and daily operations.
• Coordinate procurement of raw materials and ensure proper storage.
• Coordinate with college administration for smooth functioning of canteen services.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is preferred
• Prior experience as a canteen supervisor or in food service management is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety practices.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively.
• Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
