Canteen Manager

Canteen Operations & Administration

· Oversee day-to-day operations of the canteen, including opening, closing, and cash handling.

· Plan and manage menus in consultation with management, ensuring variety and nutrition.

· Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, and stock levels.

· Ensure timely service of breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages.

Food Quality & Hygiene

· Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality, and taste.

· Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in kitchen, dining, and storage areas.

· Implement food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices.

· Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and supplies.

Staff Supervision & Management

· Recruit, train, and supervise canteen staff including cooks, servers, and cleaners.

· Allocate work schedules, monitor staff performance, and ensure discipline.

· Provide training on hygiene, safety, and customer service.

Finance & Inventory Management

· Prepare and monitor canteen budgets, expenses, and revenues.

· Maintain stock levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.

· Prevent wastage and pilferage through effective inventory control.

· Ensure transparent billing and proper cash management.

Customer Service & Feedback

· Address complaints, suggestions, and feedback from students and staff.

· Ensure courteous and efficient service at all times.

· Introduce innovative food options, offers, and seasonal specials.

Compliance & Safety

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory food regulations.

· Maintain fire safety equipment and emergency response procedures.

· Conduct periodic audits and inspections of the canteen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,977.10 - ₹30,000.00 per month
