We urgently seek experienced and dedicated Calibration Engineers to join our technical team in Kolkata. If you are committed to precision and quality, your expertise is needed now. 🎯 The Opportunity As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for performing precise calibration of a wide range of measuring instruments across various disciplines, ensuring traceability to national/international standards. This role requires on-site and in-house laboratory work. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities Calibration Execution: Independently perform calibration of Mechanical, Thermal, or Electro-Technical measuring instruments (e.g., Pressure Gauges, Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Multimeters, Temperature Controllers, etc.) as per accredited procedures. Documentation: Generate accurate and compliant Calibration Certificates with uncertainty budgets, ensuring all required details are correctly recorded. Standards Management: Maintain and handle calibration master instruments and reference standards according to established laboratory protocols. Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose issues in instruments and recommend necessary adjustments or repairs. On-Site Service: Travel to client locations across various industries (Automobile, Engineering, Pharma, etc.) to perform on-site calibration services. Compliance: Adhere strictly to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and internal Quality Management System (QMS) policies. ✅ Required Skills & Qualifications Education Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil or Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical field. Experience Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in a calibration laboratory or other engineering field. Technical Proficiency Deep practical knowledge of calibration principles, including measurement uncertainty calculation. Experience in your relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Instrumentation Engineering or a related technical field) is mandatory. Documentation Strong ability to prepare detailed, error-free technical reports and certificates. Communication Excellent verbal communication for professional client interaction (English and Bengali/Hindi). Other Willingness to travel for on-site calibration and comfort with standard laboratory working hours. Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems is often preferred.​ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.​ Adherence to safety, SOPs, and regulatory requirements such as GMP or ISO standards.​ 📞 How to Apply This is an urgent requirement.
