Job Title: CAD Technician – Design Support

About the Role

Capability Centre at Chlorophyll Concepts is looking for a CAD Technician with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for diploma holders with hands-on CAD drafting skills and an interest in supporting multidisciplinary design projects across industries such as medical devices, automotive, and structural systems. You will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D/3D drawings, assisting in documentation, and supporting engineering teams through design stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update 2D drawings and 3D CAD models as per project requirements.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with internal and client standards.
• Maintain design files, manage versions, and assist in BOM creation.
• Collaborate with engineers and senior designers for revisions and updates.
• Assist in preparing documentation packages for client handover.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, Drafting, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in CAD drafting using tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Rhino.
• Familiarity with mechanical components, technical drawings, and industry standards.
• Basic communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and version control discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GD&T, manufacturing drawings, or DFM principles.
• Experience working with international clients or design teams.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet delivery timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
