Designation CAD/BIM Technician, Ports and Maritime, India Job Purpose The principal function of this role is to undertake Computer Aid Design (CAD) for drawing production for the Ports & Maritime Team. Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities The CAD/BIM technician will report to the Lead Engineer, GID Team, Mumbai. He/she will be required to self-check his/her work and ensure the flawless drawings prepared are as per company standards. Drawing production for the Ports and Maritime Team Preparation of coastal engineering drawings Preparation of Marine structure drawings Potential support with preparing drawings related to utilities and roads preferable Estimating quantities from drawings We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. Here's what you'll need Requirements/Qualifications/Experience Greater than 5 years’ experience is preferred Knowledge of Project wise platform, MicroStation and BIM 360 is necessary Should be proficient in use of AutoCAD software. Experience Either Revit or Civil 3D is also required Marine works experience is required Experience with reinforced concrete detailing Experience with structural steel drawings Good communications skills Willing to learn and develop.
