Job Title: CAD Engineer - BIW/Structure/Closures

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer with expertise in BIW, Structure, and Closures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Catia V5/V6 skills and have completed at least one new product development project. This role requires hands-on experience in the design and development of sheet metal/BIW parts and a strong knowledge of the product and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal/BIW parts using Catia V5/V6.
• Complete at least one new product development project.
• Create 2D/3D drawings with a strong understanding of GD&T.
• Independently handle parts, team, and sheet metal commodity.
• Interact, analyze, and create parts as per design rules and requirements.
• Improve the performance and efficiency of existing product designs.
• Adapt to dynamic requirements and work in challenging environments.
• Collaborate effectively as a team player or lead projects as needed.
  

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Catia V5/V6.
• Experience in design and development of sheet metal/BIW parts.
• Knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Understanding of GD&T and experience with 2D/3D drawings.
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with sheet metal commodities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Experience with BIW, closure, and BIW structure product design.
