C++ Software Engineer

As a Senior C++ Low-Latency Developer, you’ll design, develop, and optimize low-latency trading systems. The team builds trading infrastructure, execution gateways, and simulation environments that power QRT’s global strategies.

Your future role within QRT

• Design, develop, and optimize ultra-low-latency components for QRT’s trading strategies.
• Build and enhance core trading systems, back testing engines, exchange simulators, and execution gateways.
• Optimize multithreaded and distributed systems for latency-sensitive applications.
• Work closely with researchers, traders, and operations teams to develop advanced trading solutions.
• Ensure top-tier performance, reliability, and scalability in a competitive trading environment.

Your present skillset

• 8+ years of experience in low-latency development using C++, STL, and Boost on Linux.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems for high-performance computing.
• Strong understanding of distributed network architecture and low-level optimization techniques on Linux x86/64 platforms.
• Familiarity building trading application is plus
• Experience working within a mature continuous development process in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance global team
