Senior C++ Developer – Mumbai

A leading trading & investment firm is looking for an experienced C++ Developer to join its core engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex systems problems, building high-performance infrastructure, and working closely with quants and traders in a fast-paced environment.

Day to day role

• Designing and enhancing low-latency trading and market-data systems

• Building high-throughput components for order execution, risk controls, and real-time monitoring

• Developing tools for historical data access, simulation, and analytics

• Optimising systems using advanced C++, Linux internals, and network programming

• Collaborating with senior engineers to push performance boundaries

Skills required

• 5+ years of strong C++ development experience

• Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimisation

• Strong understanding of Linux, multithreading, and systems-level programming

• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication

• Experience with Python or shell scripting is a plus

• Interest in high-performance distributed systems or trading infrastructure
