Buyer Private Label

As a Buyer for Private Label at Wehkamp, you will play a crucial role in developing and growing our private label brands. Your main responsibility will be to source, develop, curate, and purchase the most optimal product assortment for our customers. Working closely with the branded buying team, styling, quality, merchandising, and the Head of Buying, you will strive to deliver a dynamic and commercially successful range. Your key responsibilities will include determining the direction of the private label brands based on customer data and your expertise, implementing category strategies and objectives, collaborating with the team to create a seasonal plan, utilizing internal data to enhance product assortments, managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and documenting all supplier contracts. To succeed in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail, excel in setting priorities, thrive in a dynamic environment, possess strong leadership skills, maintain excellent market knowledge and relationship management capabilities, and demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Buyer, a Bachelor's degree in Fashion, solid financial and analytical acumen, excellent knowledge of fabrics and materials, a good understanding of the Dutch market trends, and proficiency in English.
