Buyer & Merchandiser

As a Buyer & Merchandiser at our company based in Rabale, Navi Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing stock effectively to ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing stock levels, coordinating with internal teams for efficient stock movement, and supporting merchandising strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. If you possess a keen eye for trends and have a solid understanding of retail operations, we are excited to welcome you to our team! Your key responsibilities will include managing inventory, coordinating with various teams for timely deliveries, and implementing store layouts and visual merchandising strategies to drive sales. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to align stock with customer demand, analyze sales data to optimize product availability, and work on replenishment and markdown strategies based on product performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring sales against stock performance, generating regular reports, and ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management in collaboration with supply chain and warehouse teams. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in a merchandising role within the retail or fashion industry. A strong understanding of merchandising principles, retail operations, and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration across teams and with suppliers. Your proactive, organized, and detail-oriented approach to stock management will be key to your success in this position.
