About the role
As Media and Marketing Business Transformation Manager you will be responsible for driving strategic digital transformation projects in media and marketing. This role focuses on digital innovation, automations and data-driven insights to optimise media investments, streamline and automate operations and enhance decision making. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, technical proficiency and stakeholder management skills to lead digital solutions and drive business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Transformation & Product Innovation
- Develop and execute a product roadmap for automation and decision-making tools to optimise Media investments, marketing campaigns, performance marketing and other activations to maximise ROI
- Launch and scale digital solutions leveraging the latest technologies to drive efficiencies in media planning and marketing operations
- Lead the deployment of automated data pipelines and dashboards to enable real-time performance monitoring and decision-making
- Design intuitive, data-driven dashboards to enhance visibility into key business metrics and optimise operational performance
- Develop global product strategies that leverage cross-country learnings for scalability and efficiency
- Analyse and streamline existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation
- Product management
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products, from ideation to launch and post-deployment tracking
- Evaluate ever-evolving technology landscape and recommend best-fit off the shelf products/technologies/partners
- Oversee end-to-end project management by developing detailed plans, tracking progress, managing scope, schedule, and budget changes, ensuring effective communication, maintaining comprehensive documentation, delivering quality outputs, and conducting post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement
- Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless execution
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Partner within business transformation, media teams, brand teams, external agencies, and senior leaders to implement digital initiatives effectively
- Act as a strategic bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment on transformation goals
- Champion a culture of data-led decision-making, fostering innovation in media and marketing strategies
Who are we looking for?
Education
- BE / B-Tech in Computer Science from a premier institute
- MBA is preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years in media/marketing transformation, digital strategy, or product management within FMCG industry
Skills
- Strong expertise in analytics, automation, AI/ML applications, web development and decision-making tools
- Ability to evaluate various technologies/products/partners and recommend best-fit options
- A self-starter with ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects across various functions. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and collaborate with senior leadership
- Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable, tech-enabled solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, extract actionable insights, and translate findings into business recommendations
- Should possess a strong business understanding of Media and Marketing, with the ability to understand and analyse trends in marketing and Media, Media and marketing KPIs and FMCG competitive landscape
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
