Also, translate economic trends into industry competitive advantage, transform a business to enable profitable & sustainable growth.We are seeking an experienced FP&A Transformation Leader to drive financial planning and analysis modernization initiatives for our clients. This role combines deep FP&A domain expertise with cutting-edge technology capabilities to reimagine traditional finance processes and deliver measurable business outcomes.
What are we looking for?
8-12 years of experience in finance operations with at least 5 years focused on FP&A processes (planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)2+ years of management consulting or transformation project leadership experienceProven track record of leading technology-enabled finance transformation initiativesAt least one finance transformation initiative leveraging Large Language Models / Gen AIStrategic thinking with ability to translate business strategy into actionable FP&A process improvementsExceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial and technical concepts to diverse audiencesExperience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholder groupsMBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldProfessional certifications (CPA, CFA) preferredExperience across multiple industries (manufacturing, technology, healthcare, financial services)Prior experience with Gen AI applications in finance and business process automationAdvanced proficiency in one or more EPM platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, OneStream, Oracle PBCS, SAP BPC)Database and data management knowledge including SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
Roles and Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end FP&A transformation projects from vision development through implementation, managing complex stakeholder ecosystems across client organizationsDrive client conversations and presentations at C-suite and senior finance leadership levels to articulate transformation value propositions and secure buy-inManage and develop high-performing teams of experienced consultants, providing strategic direction and ensuring transformation and delivery excellence within time and budget constraintsDesign and implement innovative FP&A solutions that leverage technology to automate processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and improve decision-making speed and accuracyCoordinate cross-functional collaboration between finance, technology, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processesApply deep subject matter expertise in core FP&A processes including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting to design optimal future-state solutionsConduct comprehensive process assessments to identify automation opportunities and design optimal technology-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort while improving accuracyTranslate complex financial concepts into technical requirements and vice versa, serving as the bridge between finance and technology teamsHelp build data-driven FP&A platforms using modern technologies (cloud-based EPM systems, data visualization tools, robotic process automation) to create scalable, real-time financial insightsSupport pursuit activities by developing compelling demonstrations of FP&A transformation capabilities and participating in client pitchesContribute to RFP responses with technical solution design, project estimates, and implementation approaches for FP&A modernization opportunitiesDevelop business cases and ROI models for proposed FP&A transformation initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis and implementation roadmapsLeverage professional networks to identify and develop new business opportunities in the FP&A transformation spaceDrive innovation initiatives by staying current with emerging FP&A technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory changes that impact financial planning processesConduct change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new FP&A processes and technologies within client organizations
