As a Business Risk and Control Senior Officer I, you will be responsible for working closely with management to ensure governance and execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA), including assessing risks associated with business changes. You will be in charge of maintaining the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the Control Framework, identifying issue root causes, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring appropriate escalation according to policies. Your role will involve directing teams in implementing the Lessons Learned Policy and monitoring control breaches to improve processes and prevent future events. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with Management on governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) - Ensuring quality, completeness, and accuracy of the Control Framework implementation - Identifying issue root causes and recommending corrective actions - Directing teams in implementing the Lessons Learned Policy - Supporting management in reviewing and challenging control designs - Directing teams on the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the MCA - Assessing adherence to the MCA Standard and exercising control over Operational and Compliance Risk - Assisting in allocating resources to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures - Identifying, assessing, recording, and responding to Operational and Compliance Risk events - Ensuring governance and training support for Risk profiles - Assessing risks associated with New Activities and changes to the Business - Supporting operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing - Ensuring risk and control responsibilities are embedded within FLUs - Guiding and influencing standards and procedures to conform to enterprise requirements Qualifications required for this position include: - 10+ years of experience - Familiarity with 3rd party risk models - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in SQL, Perl or Python, Matlab or R, Excel VBA - Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use the search tools and apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.,
