As a Business Process Senior Manager at Emerson based in Talegaon, Pune, your role involves overseeing business processes for the configuration solution of Emerson's Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit globally. Your responsibilities include providing strategic direction for ISVs Configurators, gathering user and SBU input for enhancements, and prioritizing developments. You will also lead the transition of configurators from Oracle OCD to Configit and collaborate with various teams for the global rollout of ISVs CPQ+ solution. Your Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic and technical direction for the Isolation Valve Business Units Product Configurators - Gather and prioritize user feedback for continual improvement - Manage the configurator development and enhancement roadmap - Lead the rollout of configurators globally as part of the CPQ transformation - Lead the transformation of the configurators programming platform to Configit - Ensure collaboration between functions to support continual improvement - Direct and prioritize the configuration development team's work - Manage and maintain training decks and configurator functional documentation To excel in this role, you need: - BA/BS or equivalent work experience; degrees in Engineering or Information Technology preferred - Minimum 5 years of experience supervising employees - 10 years of experience in developing and improving business processes with IT solutions for a global user base - Familiarity with Product Configuration technology such as Configit or Oracle OCD and engineering product structure - Proven success in handling time-sensitive issues in a complex business environment - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills - Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%) Preferred Qualifications: - Strong presentation skills at various organizational levels - 2-4 years of industry experience leading change in business processes In addition to your responsibilities and qualifications, Emerson prioritizes a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
