Business Planning & Analysis (BPA Support)

As a Cost Analyst (Manager) in our finance team based in Mumbai (Malad), your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Business Analytics: Analyze and report on business performance through monthly performance, AOP, product/market/function/customer/integral profitability, quarterly forecasting, strategic planning, cost control, target setting/remuneration, and pricing/margin analysis. - Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights on revenue and opex to facilitate robust business decisions and unlock growth opportunities. - S&D GAC Forecasting: Monitor and forecast S&D GAC as per center-approved guidelines and identify opportunities for cost reduction. - Center Requirement: Address any adhoc requirements from the center team. - Circle Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and circle regulations on a monthly basis. - Process Excellence: Lead process audits for SCM and logistics, identify areas for process improvement, and foster a culture of continuous enhancement. - Reporting: Deliver monthly and quarterly analyses of business unit performance on financial metrics to support management in identifying trends, opportunities, and threats to profitability. Qualifications required for this role include: - Chartered Accountant/MBA (Finance) qualification - Minimum of 2 years of industry experience - Proficiency in data analytics and modeling using Excel - Experience working with large, complex, and incomplete data sets, as well as reconciliation - Cross-functional project management experience - Strong quantitative and analytical skills - Superior business judgment with the ability to switch between big picture thinking, distill complex ideas, and analyze data to drive strategic objectives - Problem-solving skills with an action-oriented approach and the ability to approach problems innovatively - Trustworthy and discreet when handling highly sensitive non-public information - Passion for Airtel products and belief in Airtel's mission If you are looking to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to strategic decision-making processes, this role might be the perfect fit for you.,
